happiness in any season

I heard an interview the other day with a wise woman. As a young mother she was not happy when she took her small children to church. She spent the entire time wrangling them and trying to get them to behave. This mother wondered what the point was of going to church if she couldn't even listen to the talks or feel the spirit.

Then, she had a remarkable epiphany that changed the course of her life--and could do the same for us, if we let it.

She said she realized that season of her life was her time to teach, and now that her children have grown, it's her time to learn.

It's simple. Just a tiny tweak to your thought process. What if the roadblock to your happiness is simply a misunderstanding over what season of your life you're in?

Is this your time to teach? Or to learn? Is it your time to read? Or to write? Your time to query agents? Or your time to self-publish?

I think if you can determine your season, you'll discover your happiness.

Have you found your purpose in this season of your life?
